Founded in 2011 by three stormchasing enthusiasts, Chase2BE has since grown in number and experience. Our team consists of younger and older members, a perfect combination of enthusiasm, experience and professionalism. Although stormchasing is our main goal, we’re also available for weather forecasting, damage surveys and event monitoring.

Armed with a love for nature and a passion for weather, I like to take each stormchasing challenge head on. Driving for hours to play a game of chase with Mother Nature is one of my favourite activities! That's why, after some adventures with other chasers, I decided to start Chase2BE back in 2011.

I'm a Chase2be- and weather enthusiast from the bottom of my heart. Considered a dinosaur in the Belgian weather community because of being active since its initial convection.
I love to chase storms to see if my forecast turns out to be correct.

My fascination for nature has been instilled in me since birth. At age ten I got gifted a book about the weather and a digital camera. On July 20th 2006 I unexpectedly saw the most impressive thunderstorm of my life. To prevent this form recurring, I started learning about weathermodels and photography. It didn't take long for me to meet other chasers and become one myself.

After my first chase on August 13th 2013 with Chase2BE I was instantly hooked. A year later I got my license and it didn't take long for me to chase. I'm amazed by thunderstorms every single time, the more dynamics and vorticity the better!

Being part of Chase2BE allows me to combine my passions. From a young age I've been fascinated by storms and in 2014 I started chasing, always looking for that perfect lightning shot. My extensive IT-knowledge allows me to help the team and community through the development of the Weatherportal website.

Fascination (and fear) for thunderstorms started when I was a child. Spending hours behind the window watching lightning.
My first chase was back in 2009 and first time chasing in tornado alley was in 2016. Ever since it's become a real addiction to see as many tornado's and supercells as possible.

For as long as i can remember I've been with my head in the clouds and have had a love for nature. At first I was scared, but that started fading around age 11 and soon after I started chasing. I immediately fell in love with stormchasing. I've been a proud Chase2BE member since 2017.

Airplanes, clouds or lightning: whatever happens high up in the sky has always faschinated me. Back in 2011 Daan, Dzengiz and Michael took me on my first stormchase: an amazing experience. Since I've moved to Central-America I assist by giving advice, co-thinking and writing. But whenever I'm back in Belgium you'll find me on the road chasing storms.

My early passion for photography got me fascinated by unique cloud formations and lightning. I soon discovered storm chasing and became a part of Chase2BE. Ever since I’ve been living my passion and following my dreams of chasing the most violent storms in the Midwest. The summer of 2019 I moved to the US hoping to make my dreams come true

The heavy thunderstorms during my childhood made me both scared and driven to learn more about this irresistible phenomenon. Since 2016 I've only become more interested and made me join Chase2BE in 2010. Ten years later I'm still part of the team and occasionally go along on chases.

Coming from a family where photography is important, it's not surprising that I developed a passion for nature photography at young age. In 2013 I joined Chase2BE for a first chase, and since then I've become fascinated by thunderstorm photography.
